Simplify fleet disposal in South Africa. Get quick, reliable offers and free nationwide towing for your salvage, written-off, or non-running fleet vehicles-admin sorted.
Managing a fleet of vehicles, whether for a taxi company, delivery business, or corporate transport operation, comes with maintenance challenges. When several vehicles become damaged, non-operational, or are written off, fleet managers and business owners in South Africa need an efficient, transparent way to turn these salvage or non-running assets into cash. Traditional disposal methods-like private selling, auctions, or lengthy repair negotiations-often mean more admin, extra storage costs, risk of scams, and lost productivity.
Sell Your Damaged Car offers a unique solution for South African businesses: a quick sales process for salvage fleet vehicles. Our process is designed for speed, security, and nationwide logistics, so you can redeploy funds and minimize downtime while we handle the paperwork and towing.
The decision to repair or sell salvage vehicles as-is is a daily dilemma for South African fleet owners. Repair costs can often outweigh the post-fix market value, especially when factoring in long service downtimes or the possibility of recurring issues in older or heavily damaged vehicles.
| Vehicle Age/Type | Avg. Repair Cost (R) | Retained Value (%) | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5-7 year delivery van | 70,000+ | 45%-55% | Sell as-is |
| 3 year company sedan | 30,000-50,000 | 60%-70% | Case-by-case |
| 10+ year taxi | Varies, often high | Below 30% | Sell as salvage |
When total repair costs approach or exceed 50% of the post-repair value, selling through a quick, trusted salvage process is often the most practical route. Immediate disposal reduces hidden costs such as continued licensing, insurance, monthly storage, or further depreciation-crucial for business cash flow.
Sell Your Damaged Car's process is designed to minimize time and admin for South African fleet operators and business owners. Here's how it works:
This streamlined system ensures nationwide coverage, with transparent, competitive offers and minimal disruption to your business operations.
Disposing of salvage or non-running fleet cars in South Africa requires compliance with local vehicle ownership transfer, deregistration (especially for written-offs), and finance settlement laws. Sell Your Damaged Car supports your admin by:
All supporting documentation is provided for your business records, protecting against future legal or compliance issues.
| Damage Type | Offer Impact (Typical) |
|---|---|
| Severe panel/structural | Significant deduction |
| Engine/gearbox failure | Moderate to significant deduction |
| Hail/flood/fire | Varies, case-by-case |
| Cosmetic only | Minor deduction |
Once your salvage fleet vehicles are collected, you'll receive verified payment directly into your nominated business account. All transfer documents, deregistration receipts, and settlement confirmations (if applicable) will be provided for your official records.
For many South African fleets, using this quick disposal method enables redeployment of capital and simplifies compliance with company asset management policies. Vehicles may enter the salvage auction market, be stripped for parts, or responsibly recycled-ensuring end-to-end traceability and peace of mind.
