Compare scrap car offers in Pretoria. Learn how prices are set, what to compare, and how free towing, paperwork and fast payment affect your net cash.
Compare Total Value
Look beyond the headline price to towing, admin and payment timing.
Free Pretoria Collection
Free towing and paperwork handling can improve your net cash received.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Submit photos online and receive a competitive cash offer quickly.
If you own a scrap, written-off or non-running vehicle in Pretoria you may be comparing offers from breakers, tow yards and online buyers. Prices depend on make, model, year, condition and salvage demand - and offers can vary significantly between buyers. This page helps you understand typical price drivers in Pretoria and how to evaluate competing cash offers from local buyers.
When you get multiple quotes, compare the total package, not just the headline amount. A higher cash number can be offset by towing fees, unpaid admin work or delays in payment. Look for inclusions such as free collection, paperwork handling and how quickly the buyer will pay. For an overview of services and nationwide coverage you can review our approach on the About / How it works page.
| Feature | Why it matters | How it affects offers |
|---|---|---|
| Free towing | Saves you transport cost and logistics | Higher net value if included |
| Paperwork handling | Deregistration and transfer reduce your admin time | Favourable when buyer manages admin |
| Payment timing | Quick payment reduces risk | Offers with fast payment are more valuable |
If your car is non-running or heavily damaged, the buyer’s collection policy matters. For a quick valuation process designed for damaged vehicles, see our Sell Damaged Cars page for service details and inclusions.
Quick note: Pretoria buyers often price to local salvage demand and transport distance to major breakers. A buyer that offers free towing across Tshwane plus fast paperwork can be more convenient and deliver a better net outcome than a slightly higher headline price that requires you to arrange collection.
Sell Your Damaged Car provides transparent, obligation-free quotes for scrap and damaged vehicles across Pretoria and surrounding areas. We buy vehicles in any condition and include nationwide free towing, paperwork handling including deregistration, and fast payment after collection. When comparing offers, look for these service hallmarks rather than focusing only on the figure quoted.
This process removes towing and admin costs that often erode the apparent value of private sale offers. If your car is non-running, learn how the process works for such vehicles on our Sell Non-Running Car page.
Ready to compare offers? Get your free quote and upload vehicle details on our homepage: Get your free quote. Listings are evaluated for Pretoria pickup and we provide clear next steps, including immediate scheduling for collection once you accept.
Offers do not promise identical prices for all damage types - valuations depend on condition, market demand and vehicle data. We provide a competitive cash offer based on the information supplied and verify on inspection before collection.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
