Use our online tool to get a quick, transparent junk car pricing estimate. Upload details and photos, then accept a firm offer with free towing and fast payment.
Fast, Indicative Estimates
Get an immediate, data-driven pricing estimate for your junk or damaged vehicle.
Refined Offers & Support
Upload photos to convert estimates into firm offers with free towing and admin.
Nationwide Service
We provide collection, deregistration help and payment across South Africa.
An online tool for junk car pricing converts the details you provide - make, model, year, mileage, visible damage and photos - into an immediate pricing estimate. For South African vehicle owners with accident-damaged, non-running or written-off cars, the tool gives a transparent starting point to understand market interest and salvage value without the time and cost of private selling.
Good online tools combine vehicle data with condition input and photos. Key factors include model demand, repairability, salvageable parts value and regional salvage market trends in cities like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Our process matches that approach: you upload details and images, the tool analyses the inputs and returns an immediate, transparent estimate to guide next steps.
| Input detail | Impact on estimate accuracy |
|---|---|
| Multiple clear photos of damage | High - photos let valuers assess repair complexity and parts value |
| Accurate mileage and service history | Medium - affects parts demand and perceived remaining life |
| Description of mechanical issues | High - non-running vs minor faults change salvage interest |
Note: an online estimate is indicative. Final cash offers depend on on-site inspection, title status and market demand at the time of collection.
If you want to understand how valuation fits into the full selling process, our overview explains how we handle collections, paperwork and payments - see the About page for details: About / How it works.
For owners of severely damaged or non-running vehicles, the pricing tool is a fast way to check if selling is preferable to costly repairs. Learn more about selling non-running cars on our dedicated page: Sell Non-Running Car.
After you receive an online estimate, you can choose to proceed with a formal offer and collection. The online tool is designed to streamline decisions: it flags whether a vehicle is likely to attract interest from parts buyers, salvage yards or rebuilders and whether the costs of repair typically outweigh value for your model and location.
Our service integrates the pricing tool with practical support: nationwide collection and admin help (including deregistration where applicable). Read more about selling damaged vehicles and how offers are formed: Sell Damaged Cars.
Owners find an online junk car pricing tool especially helpful when they need a fast directional value for:
Trust signals: the tool reduces guesswork, but our team follows up with a final inspection before payment. We serve private owners and small business fleets throughout South Africa, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and take care of tow logistics and deregistration where needed.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
