Need an online quote for a storm-damaged car in South Africa? Upload photos and vehicle details for a transparent cash offer, free nationwide towing and fast payment.
Get a Fast Online Quote
Upload photos and details to receive a clear cash offer quickly.
Free Nationwide Towing
We arrange complimentary collection across South Africa after acceptance.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration, finance checks and release payment promptly.
If wind, hail, flood or fallen debris left your vehicle storm damaged, an online quote speeds up the sale process and eliminates guesswork. Sell Your Damaged Car buys storm-damaged vehicles across South Africa, gives a competitive cash offer based on condition and market demand, and arranges free towing and paperwork when you accept.
When you request an online quote, provide clear photos of damage, a brief description of what the storm did, and basic vehicle details (make, model, year, mileage). That helps us produce a transparent offer quickly. For more on typical storm-related damage types and how they influence valuation, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Superficial denting / broken glass | Lower repair cost; moderate impact |
| Roof, structural or chassis damage | Significant impact; often written-off |
| Water/flood damage (electrical systems) | Can be severe; affects buyer confidence and price |
If you want background on how we operate and what to expect during valuation, read our How it works overview. That page explains our inspection criteria, documentation checks and the typical timeline from quote to collection.
Fast example: upload images and vehicle details online, and receive an initial quote the same day in many cases. Offers factor in local salvage demand in metros like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban as well as regional collection costs (which we cover with free towing when you accept).
1. Upload vehicle details and clear photos via the online form. 2. Receive a transparent cash offer based on the information provided. 3. Accept the offer and schedule free collection. 4. We complete the paperwork and release payment promptly after collection.
Use the homepage link to start: Get your free quote. If you already have photos ready, choose Upload vehicle details and the valuation team will respond quickly.
After you accept the offer, confirm collection on the agreed date using the same homepage link: Confirm collection. Our driver collects the vehicle, we finalise the paperwork and release fast payment-you can also use the homepage link to see payment options: Get paid fast.
Example scenario: a 2012 sedan with hail dents and a cracked windscreen may receive a different quote than the same model with water ingress to the dash. All quotes reflect current conditions and regional salvage demand; figures presented during valuation are estimates and may be revised after physical inspection. Values and examples referenced use South African context and currency (R) where applicable.

Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
