Need non-running car removal and a cash payout? Get a competitive cash offer, free nationwide towing, assisted paperwork and fast payment with Sell Your Damaged Car.
We Buy Non-Running Cars
Any condition - accident, flood, fire or mechanical failure accepted.
Free Nationwide Removal
We arrange towing across South Africa and handle collection logistics.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We assist with transfer/deregistration and issue fast payment after collection.
If your vehicle no longer starts, has been written off, suffered flood or fire damage, or has major mechanical failure, arranging removal and getting a cash payout is often faster and lower risk than repairs. Sell Your Damaged Car buys non-running vehicles in any condition, provides free nationwide towing, handles the paperwork including deregistration where applicable, and issues fast payment once the collection is complete. Our simple online process reduces time and uncertainty for private owners and small fleet operators in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas.
We accept cars with accident damage, fire or flood damage, engine or transmission failure, electrical faults and written-off or salvage titles. For details about selling a vehicle that won’t start, see our Sell Non-Running Car page which explains required photos and information. To understand our company background and how collections are scheduled, check our About / How it works page.
Note: Offers depend on vehicle details and photos. We provide a competitive cash offer but not a promise of highest market price; final valuation follows inspection.
The non-running car removal and cash payout process is designed to be fast and low hassle. Typical steps are:
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Major structural/accident damage | Substantial reduction - depends on repair complexity and salvage demand |
| Engine or transmission failure | Moderate to high impact - non-running status is key |
| Flood or fire damage | High impact - often classified as salvage or written-off by insurers |
We assist with the necessary transfer paperwork and deregistration steps where relevant. If a vehicle is still under finance, inform us up front so we can coordinate settlement with your lender. For more details about selling damaged vehicles generally, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
Example scenarios across South Africa: a non-running hatchback in Johannesburg can often be inspected and collected within 48-72 hours after offer acceptance; remote collections take longer but still include free towing. Payment is released promptly after collection and verification. Timelines are estimates and may vary by location and vehicle condition.
Start by visiting our homepage to Get your free quote or Upload vehicle details. If you accept the offer, simply confirm collection and we will arrange towing and pay you fast.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
