NaTIS (National Traffic Information System) is the South African platform managing vehicle registrations and licensing. Every car on the road must be compliant with NaTIS records for ownership, deregistration, and transfer of title. If your car has outstanding finance, you will need written authorisation from the bank (settlement letter or release note) before NaTIS transfer.
