Connect with local buyers for accident-damaged or non-running vehicles across South Africa. Free towing, paperwork handling (including deregistration) and fast payment.
Local Collection & Free Towing
We arrange regional pick-up across South Africa at no cost to you.
Transparent Cash Offers
Receive a clear, competitive cash offer based on condition and market demand.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and administrative steps, then pay quickly after collection.
If your vehicle has been in an accident, is written off or won’t start, finding a local buyer who understands salvage and collection logistics saves time and stress. We purchase vehicles in any condition across South Africa and arrange free towing, handle paperwork including deregistration, and arrange fast payment after collection. Our process works for private owners and small commercial fleets in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas.
Local buyers reduce collection lead times and can assess regional salvage demand that affects offers. Choosing a buyer with nationwide reach also means consistent service whether you’re in a metro or a smaller town. Learn more about how our service operates on the About / How it works page.
We combine local buyer expertise with national logistics: immediate online offers, local collection teams, and centralised paperwork processing. If you need details on selling a severely damaged vehicle, our Sell Damaged Cars page explains accepted conditions and documentation.
Local advantage: In cities like Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban a regional buyer can often collect the vehicle the same week and avoid extended storage that may further reduce value.
| Factor | How it influences the offer |
|---|---|
| Visible structural damage | Can reduce offer due to repair complexity and salvage classification |
| Mechanical condition | Non-running cars usually receive lower offers but are still accepted |
| Market demand for parts | Popular models often attract more competitive cash offers |
| Location & collection access | Remote locations may affect timing, but we offer free towing nationwide |
Our streamlined process keeps things simple: upload vehicle details and photos, receive a clear offer, accept to confirm collection, and we collect the vehicle and complete paperwork. You can start by uploading vehicle details now to get an obligation-free cash quote.
We handle transfer documentation and help with deregistration steps. If a vehicle is under finance, inform your lender so we can coordinate settlement as required. For more details on selling non-running vehicles and the documents typically needed, visit our Sell Non-Running Car page.
Private owner in Durban with an accident-damaged hatchback can get an online offer, schedule local collection within days, and receive a competitive cash offer without arranging towing. A small fleet operator in Johannesburg with multiple written-off units can request consolidated collection and paperwork processing to simplify fleet administration.
Ready to get started? Click the Get your free quote button on our homepage, upload photos and details, and we’ll respond with an offer and collection options.
Need a tow? We got you

Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
