Quickly get an obligation-free cash offer for your hail-damaged car online. Free nationwide towing, paperwork assistance and fast payment across South Africa.
Fast Online Offers
Upload photos and get a transparent cash offer for hail-damaged vehicles.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect across South Africa and handle the transport at no cost to you.
Paperwork & Quick Payment
We assist with deregistration and release payment after collection.
If your vehicle was damaged in a hail storm, you can get an offer for your hail damaged car online in South Africa without visiting multiple scrapyards or insurers. At Sell Your Damaged Car we assess dent patterns, glass damage and mechanical issues from photos and details you provide, then return a competitive cash offer. We buy cars in any condition across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas, and arrange free towing and quick payment when you accept.
Minor cosmetic repairs can sometimes be worthwhile, but repeated panel repairs, paint-matching and potential long-term corrosion can make repairs expensive. Selling saves you time, removes storage and repair risk, and often provides a simpler path to liquidity for private owners and small fleets. If you want a fast online valuation, start with our homepage: Get your free quote.
Quick note: Photographs from multiple angles (roof, bonnet, boot, all doors and glass) speed up accurate offers. Include close-ups of dent clusters and any cracked glass.
Assessors consider size and location of dents, panel count, glass damage, underlying mechanical issues and the vehicle’s make, model and year. Vehicles with superficial dents and no structural or glass damage typically retain more value than cars needing panel replacement or extensive bodywork. For an overview of the types of damaged cars we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page: Sell Damaged Cars.
| Damage Type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Minor surface dents (no glass damage) | Low to moderate reduction; still competitive offers |
| Multiple panels dented / door or roof distortion | Moderate reduction; may require panel replacement |
| Glass cracking / sunroof damage | Higher impact; reduces offer due to replacement costs |
| Structural/frame or mechanical damage | Significant reduction; often treated as salvage |
To learn more about our process and how we value damaged vehicles, visit our About page: How it works.
Once you accept an online offer for your hail-damaged car, we schedule collection from your address anywhere in South Africa. Our team handles paperwork including transfer and deregistration admin, and arranges free towing. After collection and verification, payment is released to your nominated bank account so you can move on quickly.
| Hail scenario | What assessors look for |
|---|---|
| Localized dents (single panel) | Ease of repair and panel integrity |
| Widespread roof and bonnet dents | Higher labour and repainting needed; offer reduced accordingly |
| Hail plus glass/structural damage | Significant impact; may be treated as salvage |
Start the process now: Upload vehicle details and photos to receive an obligation-free quote. Once you confirm, we'll Confirm collection and arrange Get paid fast. If your vehicle isn’t running due to storm-related issues, see our Sell Non-Running Car page for tailored guidance: Sell Non-Running Car.
We operate across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Our service includes free towing, help with deregistration and guidance if your vehicle is still under finance. We prioritise clear, verifiable offers based on the damage shown - this reduces surprises at collection and speeds payment.
