Sell your water-damaged car in Gauteng. Get a transparent cash offer, free towing across Johannesburg and Pretoria, handled paperwork and fast payment.
Local Gauteng Coverage
We collect across Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding towns with free towing.
Competitive Cash Offers
Transparent valuations for water-damaged and non-running vehicles.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We assist with transfer/deregistration and issue prompt payment after collection.
If you own a water-damaged car in Gauteng (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Soweto or surrounding areas) and want a swift, low-stress sale, you’re in the right place. Gauteng water damaged car buyers often face logistical challenges: arranging transport, proving ownership, and finding a buyer who understands flood- or water-related vehicle issues. We provide a streamlined online route so you can convert a damaged vehicle into cash without lengthy negotiation or towing costs.
We buy water-damaged, flood-affected and non-running vehicles across Gauteng. Offers are determined by make, model, year, extent of water intrusion, electronic damage, and salvage demand. While sellers often search for the "best-price" options, a competitive cash offer plus free towing and handled paperwork can give faster net value and less risk than private sale alternatives.
Start now by getting an immediate appraisal - Get your free quote or learn more about how the process works on our About / How it works page.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offers |
|---|---|
| High water line / interior flooding | Significant reduction due to electronics and mould risk |
| Engine ingestion / mechanical damage | Major impact; often classed as non-running |
| Superficial water exposure (no electronics affected) | Smaller reduction; higher salvage interest |
Note: these are general patterns; every vehicle is individually assessed. If you’re weighing repair vs sell, consider repair cost estimates versus the time, storage and resale uncertainty. For non-running vehicles or extensive electrical damage, many sellers in Gauteng choose a direct sale to buyers who specialise in water-damaged stock rather than funding repairs.
If your car is immobile or under finance, we still offer support - start by uploading your details and photos at Sell Damaged Cars for a quick assessment.
After you submit vehicle information and photos we provide a competitive cash offer based on condition and market demand. If you accept, we schedule free towing from your Gauteng location and handle the paperwork so you don’t need to visit multiple offices.
To begin, Upload vehicle details and choose a convenient collection time. For non-running vehicles specifically, see our dedicated guidance on Sell Non-Running Car.
We assist with title verification and provide clear instructions for deregistration or transfer where required. If your vehicle is still financed, tell us during the valuation - we can liaise with the finance provider to settle outstanding matters as part of the sale. Always keep records of the sale agreement and payment evidence.
Tip: Take detailed photos of VIN/chassis plates, odometer and any flood markers. These speed up verification and improve offer accuracy.
Specialist buyers understand local salvage demand, towing logistics across Johannesburg, Pretoria and nearby towns, and the paperwork required in South Africa. That combination - a competitive cash offer, free towing and handled admin - often delivers the best net outcome for sellers compared with protracted private listings.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
