Free Gauteng Collection
We tow fire-damaged cars across Johannesburg, Pretoria and the province at no cost.
Paperwork & Deregistration Help
We handle transfer paperwork and advise on financed or encumbered vehicles.
Fast, Transparent Offers
Upload photos and details to receive a clear, obligation-free cash assessment.
If your vehicle has suffered fire damage in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Soweto or anywhere in Gauteng, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a straightforward removal and cash offer service. We specialise in fire-damaged, written-off and non-running vehicles and provide free towing, administrative support and near-instant payment once the sale is completed. Start by uploading photos and vehicle details to get a fast, obligation-free assessment.
Fire-damaged cars present unique safety, environmental and logistical challenges. A specialist buyer like Sell Your Damaged Car has experience with safe recovery, salvage assessment and the paperwork required for deregistration or transfer. Our regional teams in Gauteng understand local recovery routes and can collect from homes, repair yards or police-impounded locations.
For more details on what we buy and how vehicle condition affects offers, see our Sell Damaged Cars page. If the vehicle is non-running after the fire, our Sell Non-Running Car guidance explains specific documentation you should have ready.
Gauteng note: collection times vary by location-urban Johannesburg pickups are usually quicker than remote areas of the province. We’ll confirm a realistic collection window when your offer is accepted.
Handling a fire-damaged car sale in Gauteng requires correct documentation and safe handling. We help with transfer paperwork and provide guidance if the vehicle is financed or registered in another name. Where there is an outstanding finance agreement, sellers should disclose encumbrances so we can advise the correct next steps and work with financiers when required.
Offers depend on the vehicle’s age, model, pre-fire market value, extent of fire damage (engine bay vs interior), and current salvage demand. While we can’t provide price examples here, we provide a competitive cash offer reflective of the South African salvage market and vehicle specifics.
For a step-by-step explanation of our nationwide service and how we handle admin, see our About page: How it works. When you’re ready, upload vehicle details to receive an offer and confirm collection.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
