Get free salvage car collection in Cape Town for accident-damaged, non-running and written-off vehicles. We handle paperwork, towing and fast payment across the Western Cape.
If you have a damaged, non-running, or salvage car taking up space in Cape Town, Sell Your Damaged Car offers a seamless, no-cost collection service. Regardless of your vehicle's age, condition or level of damage-from accident write-offs to severe mechanical failure-we'll collect it for free and pay you promptly. Our hassle-free process is trusted throughout the Western Cape, making it easy for both private vehicle owners and fleet managers to turn unwanted cars into cash without stress.
Our free towing and paperwork support simplify the salvage process. We operate across Cape Town, from the City Bowl to Bellville, Constantia, Table View, Mitchells Plain, and surrounding areas.
Many Cape Town motorists face the tough decision of repairing or selling a salvage vehicle. Generally, selling is your best option if the car:
| Repair Estimate (R) | Current Value (R) | Typical Value Retained (%) |
|---|---|---|
| 35 000 | 30 000 | < 50% |
| 18 000 | 40 000 | ~60% |
| 55 000 | 50 000 | < 50% |
In many real-world scenarios, salvage cars cost more to fix than their actual worth. Factoring in the risk of hidden faults and ongoing running costs, a quick sale is usually the more practical, cost-effective choice.
With Sell Your Damaged Car's online process, getting rid of your damaged vehicle couldn't be easier:
Selling a salvage or written-off car in South Africa involves certain legal and administrative steps-especially in the City of Cape Town. Our team is familiar with local requirements and ensures you meet all legal obligations.
| Type of Damage | Offer Impact | Collection Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Accident/Collision | Moderate to major | Within 48-72 hours* |
| Mechanical/Engine failure | High if non-running | 24-48 hours* |
| Fire/Flood damage | Major impact | Within 48-72 hours* |
*Collection timelines depend on your location and access; our local Cape Town team ensures prompt service in all metro and suburban areas.
