Fast Payment After Collection

After an accident the logistics of moving a damaged vehicle can be stressful and costly. Free pickup removes towing expenses, reduces the time your car sits exposed to further damage, and simplifies selling a written-off or non-running vehicle. Sell Your Damaged Car offers nationwide collection, handling towing and admin so owners in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding areas can focus on next steps.
We buy accident-damaged vehicles in any condition: accident write-offs, flood-damaged, fire-damaged, non-running and mechanically failed cars. Whether a private owner or a small business fleet in Gauteng or the Western Cape, our service covers collection and paperwork.
Free towing saves immediate out-of-pocket costs (towing in SA can range from roughly R500-R2,000 depending on distance and recovery complexity). We also reduce admin burden by handling transfer paperwork and deregistration steps. For details about our process and what to expect, see our About / How it works page.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offers |
|---|---|
| Structural collision | Larger impact due to repair complexity and safety concerns |
| Mechanical failure/non-running | Moderate impact; value reflects salvageable parts and transport cost |
| Flood or fire damage | Significant impact; specialist salvage demand varies |
If you want a focused explanation for non-running vehicles, our page on Sell Non-Running Car explains documentation and what photos to prepare. For accident-specific guidance, see Sell Damaged Cars.
Our process is designed to be fast and transparent. Below is what typically happens from submission to payment when you use our free pickup service for accident cars in South Africa.
If a vehicle is under finance, lenders must be notified - we work with owners to confirm settlement requirements. Reported accidents may also require an SAPS collision report for insurer records; keep copies for transfer. Our nationwide service covers major metros and surrounding regions, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
