Sell your flood-damaged vehicle in South Africa. Get a competitive cash offer, free towing, paperwork handled and fast payment - nationwide service.
We Buy Flood-Damaged Cars
Any condition accepted - water-affected, non-running or written-off vehicles.
Free Nationwide Collection
We arrange towing across South Africa and handle collection logistics.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We manage deregistration and release payment quickly after collection.
If your vehicle suffered water ingress from flash floods, storms, or coastal flooding, specialist buyers can offer a competitive cash offer and manage collection and admin. We buy flood-damaged cars nationwide - from Johannesburg and Pretoria to Cape Town and Durban.
Flood-damaged car buyers assess water-related issues including electrical faults, engine contamination, interior and trim damage, and corrosion risk. A specialist buyer values the vehicle based on condition, repairability and salvage demand rather than roadworthy resale. For a smooth sale expect transparent valuation, secure payment and free nationwide towing.
We purchase flood-damaged cars in any condition: minor water ingress to full submersion events, including vehicles with electrical or mechanical failure, interior saturation, and those declared as salvage by insurers.
| Damage Type | Typical Buyer Consideration |
|---|---|
| Surface water & wet interior | Drying and detailing possible; electrical checks required |
| Engine or gearbox water ingress | Major mechanical repairs; often sold for parts or salvage |
| Saltwater exposure | Higher corrosion risk; affects wiring, connectors and body panels |
If you want to understand the step-by-step approach we use, see our How it works page for full details on valuation, paperwork and collection.
For owners with a non-running result after flooding, our Sell Non-Running Car resource explains what information speeds up offers, like clear photos and accurate descriptions of water intrusion.
Specialist buyers understand salvage streams, repair feasibility and market demand for parts. That means a faster, lower-administration sale with free towing and handled paperwork - useful if your car is immobilised or in a flood-affected area.
To start, Get your free quote by uploading photos and a short description. That single step typically takes under two minutes and lets us give you a competitive cash offer.
We operate across major metros and outlying regions - Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and beyond - and arrange free towing from most urban and rural locations. If a vehicle is under finance, we work with owners and lenders to complete the correct settlement and transfer steps.
Learn more about selling damaged vehicles on our Sell Damaged Cars page, or review our nationwide service on the homepage.
We provide clear, obligation-free offers and handle collection and paperwork to reduce risk and administrative burden for owners. Payment is issued promptly after collection; our process emphasises documentation and secure transfer to protect both parties.
If your car has water-related damage, upload photos and vehicle details now to Get your free quote. We’ll respond with a transparent offer and, if you accept, arrange free towing and fast payment.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
