Sell your flood-damaged car in Johannesburg. Get a competitive cash offer, free towing, paperwork handled and fast payment. Upload details and get a quote today.
Flood-Damage Specialists
We assess water damage accurately and offer transparent cash quotes.
Free Johannesburg Towing
We collect flood-damaged cars across Johannesburg at no cost.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle transfer paperwork and release payment promptly after collection.
If your vehicle suffered flood damage in Johannesburg, you don’t have to deal with towing costs, repair uncertainty or lengthy private-sales. We buy flood-damaged cars in any condition from private owners and fleet managers across Johannesburg and surrounding areas. Our service includes a clear online valuation, free towing, paperwork handling (including deregistration support) and fast payment after collection.
Start by uploading photos and details on our homepage: sellyourdamagedcar.co.za. If your vehicle’s main issue is water damage, our specialist valuation team factors salvage market demand and repair complexity to give you a transparent, competitive cash offer. For more on acceptable vehicle conditions, see our Sell Damaged Cars page: Sell Damaged Cars.
Flood damage often causes hidden electrical and corrosion issues that affect value and roadworthiness. Buyers in the salvage market look for clear documentation and honest condition reports - that’s why we emphasise thorough photos and accurate descriptions when you submit your vehicle.
Quick note: If the car remains insured or under claim, inform your insurer before selling. If the vehicle is still under finance, we explain the payoff and settlement steps as part of the offer process.
1. Upload vehicle details and photos on our secure form. This takes a few minutes and helps us assess flood-related issues quickly. Use the short form on our Sell Non-Running Car guidance if the vehicle won’t start: Sell Non-Running Car.
2. Receive a clear, obligation-free cash offer. Offers are based on condition, model, year and current salvage demand in Johannesburg and wider South Africa. You decide whether to accept; there’s no obligation to proceed.
3. If you accept, we arrange free towing from your location in Johannesburg and handle the required paperwork. For an overview of our steps and what to expect, see our About/How it works page: How it works.
- If the vehicle is parked in a flood-prone area, arranging collection sooner reduces the risk of further deterioration. - Keep all service records and insurance correspondence handy to speed up validation. - Vehicles under finance can still be sold; we provide a transparent walkthrough for settling finance during the sale.
We buy flood-damaged vehicles across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Our process is designed for low risk and transparency: clear offers, documented collection and fast payment. To begin, upload your details and get your free quote on the homepage: Get your free quote and choose a convenient collection time.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
