Find cash buyers for accident-damaged cars in South Africa. Get a competitive cash offer, free towing nationwide, paperwork handled and fast payment.
Any-Condition Cash Offers
We buy accident-damaged, non-running and written-off vehicles across SA.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect your vehicle from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration and release payment quickly after collection.
If your vehicle has been in an accident, is written off, fire- or flood-damaged, or simply no longer runs, selling to specialist cash buyers for accident damaged cars SA can be quicker and simpler than repair or private sale. Our service accepts cars in any condition, offers free nationwide towing, handles deregistration and paperwork, and releases near-instant payment once collection is complete.
We buy accident-damaged, non-running and salvage vehicles from private owners and small business fleets across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and surrounding regions. Whether the damage is structural, mechanical, fire-related or flood-affected, submit photos and vehicle details to receive a transparent, obligation-free cash offer.
| Damage type | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Structural/Frame damage | Larger reduction - repair complexity and salvage value considered |
| Engine/transmission failure | Moderate to high impact depending on parts salvageability |
| Cosmetic damage | Lower impact if mechanicals are intact |
| Flood or fire damage | Significant impact - often sold for parts or scrap |
Every vehicle is assessed on make, model, year, mileage, damage severity and local salvage demand - which is why offers vary. For a straightforward form to start the process, use our Sell Damaged Cars page and upload clear images.
Learn more about how our process works and what to expect by visiting our About page: About / How it works.
1. Upload vehicle details and photos via our online form. 2. Receive a transparent, obligation-free cash offer. 3. Accept the offer and schedule free collection. 4. We complete paperwork including deregistration where required and pay you promptly after collection. Use the quick start option on our homepage to Get your free quote.
| Repair scope | Estimated cost (R) | Likely impact on private resale |
|---|---|---|
| Minor panel & paint | R5,000 - R15,000 | Small to moderate recovery |
| Engine rebuild/replacement | R20,000 - R60,000+ | High cost; may exceed retained value for older cars |
| Structural/frame repair | R30,000 - R100,000+ | Often reduces marketability; written-off status possible |
These figures are illustrative estimates for South African contexts and vary by vehicle make, model, age and regional labour/parts costs. If repair estimates are a high proportion of your vehicle's likely market value, selling to cash buyers for accident damaged cars SA is often the faster, lower-risk route.
Once you accept an offer we arrange free towing and collect the vehicle on the agreed date. We finalise any necessary transfer or deregistration and release payment promptly - receive your funds quickly and securely. If your vehicle is under finance, we coordinate with your lender to ensure title is cleared prior to final settlement.
For owners of non-running vehicles, consider our dedicated form on the Sell Non-Running Car page for focused guidance. When you’re ready, Upload vehicle details and confirm collection to get paid fast.

Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
