Need junk car removal in Cape Town? We buy damaged, non-running and written-off vehicles, provide free towing across the metro and handle payment and paperwork.
Free Cape Town Towing
We arrange pickup anywhere in Cape Town at no cost to you.
Any Condition Accepted
Accident, flood, fire, non-running or written-off vehicles are accepted.
We Handle Paperwork
We assist with transfer and deregistration through South African systems.
If your vehicle is damaged, non-running, flood-affected or written off, Cape Town junk car removal services can turn an eyesore into a straightforward sale. Sell Your Damaged Car provides competitive cash offers, arranges free towing across Cape Town and surrounds, and handles the paperwork so you don’t need to worry about collection or deregistration.
Our process is designed for speed and minimal effort. You upload basic vehicle details and photos, we return a transparent offer, and if you accept we arrange free towing and complete the required admin. The model is the same whether you’re in central Cape Town, the Northern Suburbs, Southern Suburbs or surrounding towns.
Using a specialist saves time, avoids towing costs, reduces the paperwork burden and lowers exposure to low private-sale offers. We buy vehicles in any condition and can support private owners and small business fleets alike. For a full overview of what we buy and how the process works, see our Sell Damaged Cars page and our homepage for instant quotes and service area details.
| Service Step | What You Provide | What We Do |
|---|---|---|
| Get a quote | Vehicle details, photos, location | Immediate online offer |
| Accept offer | Confirm collection details | Schedule free towing |
| Collection & payment | Hands-free on collection day | We complete paperwork and release payment |
Once you submit your vehicle details, we assess condition, market demand for parts/salvage and local collection logistics. Offers are transparent and based on condition and salvageability. If you accept, we confirm a collection window, arrange free towing from your address and handle handover and transfer paperwork including assistance with deregistration where applicable.
| Damage Type | Typical Impact on Offer |
|---|---|
| Structural/accident damage | Reduces value; salvage parts may retain demand |
| Mechanical failure (non-running) | Depends on parts condition; non-runners accepted |
| Flood/fire damage | Often significant impact; still accepted for salvage |
Cape Town-specific note: We cover all metro suburbs and surrounding towns - from the CBD and Atlantic Seaboard to Mitchells Plain and the Helderberg. Free towing is included in our local collections.
Transfers and deregistration in South Africa are administered via provincial traffic authorities (eNaTIS/RTMC systems). When we collect your vehicle we complete the sale documents with you and provide guidance on deregistration where needed. If your vehicle is under finance, declare it at quote stage so we can outline the correct process for settlement and transfer.
For more details about selling a non-running vehicle or the items we accept, see our Sell Non-Running Car page and learn about our process on the About / How it works page.

Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
