Turn your scrap or damaged car into cash. Get a competitive offer, free nationwide towing, handled paperwork and fast payment across South Africa.
Competitive Cash Offers
Receive a clear offer reflecting salvage value and local market demand.
Free Nationwide Towing
We collect scrap and damaged cars across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and beyond.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We handle deregistration/transfer and release payment after collection.
If you are searching for the best-price-scrap-car-cash-out in South Africa, you want a quick, transparent route from damaged vehicle to cash. Whether the car is accident-written-off, fire or flood damaged, non-running, or simply beyond economical repair, selling to a specialist saves time, towing costs and uncertainty. Our process is built for South African owners and small fleets: upload vehicle details and photos, receive a clear cash offer, accept if it suits you, and we manage collection and payment.
Offers are based on vehicle data, condition, salvage demand and current market prices. For transparency we explain which factors influence your quote and provide a clear, no-obligation offer. If you want a deeper read on what we accept and how the process works, see our Sell Damaged Cars page and our About / How it works overview for full details.
| Damage Type | Typical effect on offer |
|---|---|
| Structural/frame damage | Significantly lowers resale value; higher scrap/salvage valuation |
| Engine/transmission failure | Reduced offers unless major components are salvageable |
| Flood/fire damage | Often treated as salvage; impact depends on extent and age |
Pro tip: Clear photos and honest descriptions help us issue a more accurate best-price-scrap-car-cash-out offer quickly. Have multiple angles of exterior, interior, and key damage areas ready.
Our process is designed for speed and clarity. It supports private owners and fleets across South Africa and covers logistics so you don’t need to arrange towing or complex admin.
Use the online form to add make, model, year, mileage and photos. This lets us produce an informed offer - many sellers complete this in under five minutes. For a form tailored to non-running cars, see Sell Non-Running Car.
We send a transparent cash offer that notes condition factors. You decide whether to accept - there’s no obligation. The phrase best-price-scrap-car-cash-out here means a competitive cash offer that reflects the vehicle’s salvage potential and local demand.
Once you accept, we schedule free towing nationwide. Our team handles the paperwork, assists with deregistration where needed, and works with you to settle any finance queries. For an immediate start, Get your free quote or Upload vehicle details.
| Repair estimate (R) | Likely effect on selling vs scrapping |
|---|---|
| R5,000-R15,000 | Minor repairs may increase private-sale value; assess time and transport costs |
| R20,000-R60,000 | Major repairs often exceed salvage valuation - cash-out may be more practical |
We prioritise secure payment, documented transfer of ownership and clear paperwork handling. If your vehicle is under finance, inform us early so we can coordinate settlement and avoid delays.
Need a tow? We got you
Get a cash offer within 24h!
Somewhere remote? No problem!
Wondering how we calculate your car’s value? At Sell Your Damaged Car, we look at: Your car’s real condition, its salvage value, and the current market demand. It’s all about honesty, transparency, and fairness — that’s how we determine your offer.
