Receive a transparent, competitive cash offer for engine-fault vehicles.
Free Towing in Cape Town
We arrange collection across Cape Town and handle the logistics.
Paperwork & Fast Payment
We manage deregistration and process payment promptly after collection.
If your car has an engine fault and you're in Cape Town, you don’t have to spend time negotiating private sales or arranging costly repairs. Sell Your Damaged Car buys engine-fault, non-running and written-off vehicles across Cape Town and surrounding areas. We provide free towing, handle deregistration and paperwork, and arrange fast payment once the vehicle is collected.
Get started from anywhere in Cape Town by using our online form: Upload vehicle details and photos in under a few minutes. For more on the types of vehicles we buy, see our Sell Damaged Cars page.
Offers for engine-fault vehicles depend on several local factors. Below is a concise table showing typical impact factors (illustrative, not a price list).
| Factor | Typical impact on offer |
|---|---|
| Vehicle age & market demand | Higher demand models retain more value for parts |
| Severity of engine fault | Minor faults affect offers less than catastrophic engine damage |
| Overall condition (body & interior) | Good body condition improves salvage/parts value |
| Model and parts availability | Easier-to-source parts increase resale value |
If your car is non-running because of an engine fault, check our Sell Non-Running Car page for guidance on what photos and details help speed up an accurate offer.
Local note for Cape Town sellers: we collect from the city centre, northern suburbs, southern peninsula and greater metro, and can often schedule towing within a few days depending on availability.
The step-by-step process is designed for convenience: submit details and photos, receive a competitive cash offer, accept if it suits you, and we arrange collection and payment. We manage paperwork including deregistration and verification so you can avoid administrative delays.
After collection, we finalise paperwork and confirm payment. Records and receipts are provided so you have proof of sale and a clear removal from your name. Payment is processed promptly and is subject to standard verification.
If you want to learn more about how we operate and our service coverage, read our About / How it works page. When you’re ready to proceed, Upload vehicle details to receive a competitive cash offer and arrange collection.
